This site is operated by Conquest Advisors ("Conquest", "we", "us"), a licensed New York real estate brokerage. It applies to this site and to our companion site covering the same subject.
What we collect
Information you give us. Our free address checker asks for a property address and apartment or unit number, your name, an email address, and optionally a phone number. It also asks how the property is used — for example whether it is your primary residence, a family member's, tenant-occupied, or a second home. You choose whether to provide any of this. Nothing on this site requires an account.
Information we derive from public records. When you submit an address we match it against public New York City records — the Department of Finance assessment and market value rolls, PLUTO, and ACRIS — to identify the tax lot and retrieve the published market value. That matching produces a borough-block-lot identifier and valuation figures which we store alongside your request so we can produce your report and answer questions about it later.
Technical information. Standard web server and security data: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. Our anti-abuse check (Cloudflare Turnstile) processes a signal from your browser to distinguish people from automated traffic.
How we use it
- To produce and email you the free report you asked for.
- To follow up about your property, the surcharge, or brokerage services, where you have given us contact details.
- To operate and secure the site, including blocking automated abuse.
- To understand which pages and campaigns are useful, in aggregate.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade, or otherwise transfer it to data brokers, list vendors, or unaffiliated marketers. We do not use it to build advertising profiles about you, and we do not upload the addresses or contact details you submit to advertising platforms as targeting audiences.
Analytics and advertising
We use counter.dev for site analytics. It is a privacy-focused service that does not set cookies and does not track individuals across sites.
Where we run advertising campaigns, we use measurement tags provided by Google and Meta to count how many people who saw an ad went on to request a report. These tags may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. They tell us that a conversion happened; they do not tell us who you are, and we do not combine them with the details you submit through the checker. You can limit this through your browser settings, and through Google Ads Settings and Meta's ad preferences.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf and under contract — our email delivery provider, our hosting and content-delivery providers, and Cloudflare for security. We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims.
Conquest is a real estate brokerage. If your enquiry becomes a brokerage matter, your information is handled by our licensed agents in that capacity.
Google API Services
Conquest uses Google APIs in internal tools that operate our own Google accounts — for example our company email and our own Google Ads advertising account. Those tools access only data belonging to Conquest. They do not access, request, or receive any Google account data belonging to visitors to this site.
Conquest's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
We keep report requests and the correspondence attached to them for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to a licensed brokerage. Server and security logs are kept for a short period and then discarded. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, except where we are required to retain it.
Your choices
Email piedaterre@conquest.nyc and we will, on request: tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can reply "stop" to any message to end contact. You do not have to give a reason.
Children
This site is intended for property owners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
